Overview
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated Commercial Litigation Paralegal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a commercial litigation paralegal, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, e-filing, docketing, and case management.
- Experience with Missouri and Illinois state and federal court filing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, anticipate attorney needs, and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with calendaring, docketing, tracking deadlines, and overall case management.
- Monitor case deadlines and follow up to ensure that required tasks, filings, and other case-related activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial materials.
- Independently organize and maintain physical and electronic case files and project folders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
Technology & Software Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Proficiency with NetDocuments or other document management systems (DMS).
- Experience with ProLaw, including billing functions.
- Familiarity with e-discovery platforms, legal research tools, and other litigation-support technology preferred.
- Comfort with learning and utilizing AI-powered legal tools and emerging legal technologies.

Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
