Pamela J. Meanes is a Principal with Riezman Berger, P.C., bringing nearly three decades of experience representing businesses, healthcare organizations, nonprofit entities, governmental bodies, and executives in complex litigation, labor and employment, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, construction law, healthcare law, real estate, and data privacy matters. She serves as a trusted strategic advisor to corporate boards, executive leadership teams, and business owners, helping clients navigate significant legal, operational, and governance challenges.

Pamela has built a distinguished national reputation as both an accomplished trial attorney and respected legal leader. She previously served as President of the National Bar Association, the nation’s oldest and largest association of African American attorneys and judges, and currently serves as General Counsel and National Chair of Legal Affairs for The Links, Incorporated, one of the nation’s premier volunteer service organizations. These leadership roles reflect her extensive experience advising boards of directors, nonprofit organizations, and executive leadership on governance, fiduciary responsibilities, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and organizational strategy.

Before joining Riezman Berger, Pamela served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a federally qualified health center, where she advised the board of directors and executive leadership on healthcare regulatory compliance, employment law, privacy, government grants, litigation strategy, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed high-stakes litigation, negotiated complex commercial agreements, conducted internal investigations, and developed governance and compliance programs for public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Pamela has been recognized throughout her career for excellence in the legal profession. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers, received the C.
