Riezman Berger, P.C. Congratulates its Superlawyers for 2015

Riezman Berger, P.C. is pleased to announce the inclusion of two of its attorneys on the Missouri Super Lawyers List for 2015. Charles S. Kramer and M. Jill Wehmer were each named among the top recipients by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers. Charles is listed in the category of Business Litigation. Jill is listed in the category of Family Law.

Law & Politics, the publisher of Superlawyers, undertakes a rigorous vetting process to ensure that selected candidates meet the requirements to be considered a Superlawyer. Each year Law & Politics conducts a survey in which lawyers throughout the state of Missouri are asked to nominate the best attorneys based on each surveyed lawyer’s personal experience. At the conclusion of the nomination process, candidates are evaluated by the research department of Law & Politics, and are later reviewed by a panel of candidates. Inclusion in Superlawyers is independent of any advertising or other payments.

A top trial lawyer and business advisor, Charles S. Kramer’s practice covers all aspects of business representation, including business trial work and litigation, general business counseling, and transactional work and negotiation. Charles has successfully tried cases of all magnitudes, and is known for obtaining successful results for both plaintiffs and defendants. His trial work includes construction, contract, employment, copyright, trademark, trade secret, securities, unfair competition, right of privacy and publicity, constitutional law, business tort, antitrust and sports law cases. He has pioneered new theories for the benefit of clients, including claims for “negligent endorsement” of companies, products or services, and new applications of unfair competition law. His persuasive abilities were showcased in Resnik v Blue Cross, a case in which his plaintiff’s verdict was upheld by the Appeals Court but described as the outermost boundaries by which a case may be proven solely by circumstantial evidence.

An accomplished trial attorney with experience in civil, domestic and criminal matters, Jill Wehmer’s practice currently focuses on family law. Jill is currently licensed to practice in Missouri, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth District. She is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Prior to joining Riezman Berger in 1980, she worked in the St. Louis County Counselor’s Office. She is a graduate of the Drake University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri.

We are committed to the success of our clients.
