Nicholas A. Scholz joined the corporate division of Riezman Berger, P.C. in 2021. He focuses his practice on transactional, corporate & business, and real estate law. Before joining Riezman Berger, Nick was a general practice associate at a law firm in Edwardsville, Illinois. Nick is licensed to practice in the State of Missouri and the State of Illinois.
Nick earned his Juris Doctor from the Washington University School of Law in 2020. During his time in law school, Nick received honors including multiple CALI awards, Dean’s List, and a position on the Washington University Law Review. Nick worked as a student attorney in the Washington University School of Law Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Clinic. This work provided him with a unique perspective into the intellectual property needs of startups and other newly formed enterprises. Nick also worked as an intern in the Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin. Prior to law school, Nick studied saxophone and Performing Arts Management at the DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. During his time at the School of Music, Nick had performances with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Camerata Chicago chamber orchestra.
Nick is a member of the Missouri Bar Association.
