Brian J. Flieg

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Truman State University before completing both his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2010. During his graduate studies, he received multiple academic excellence awards, including CALI Awards in Corporate Tax and Partnership Tax.
Early in his career, Brian operated his own law practice in South County, assisting clients with estate planning, probate, tax preparation, and business law. He later joined a respected firm in Clayton before becoming part of Riezman Berger in 2025, where he focuses on estate and trust planning, probate, tax law, and corporate services.
Brian takes a client-focused approach to his work, helping families and business owners navigate complex legal and tax issues with clarity and confidence. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and before the United States Tax Court.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and woodworking.
