Randall D. Grady practices in all areas of civil litigation. His clients range from multi-national corporations to small family owned businesses. In 2007 he secured beneficial results for clients in matters as diverse as inland shipping obligations in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, to the design requirements for a faux climbing wall at a national retail store. He obtained favorable jury trial results in 2007 in cases involving commercial breach of contract actions for both small and large businesses. He most recently obtained a judgment in a case in which the Court refused to recognize a claim for “false light invasion of privacy”. He is actively involved in the firm’s Family Law and Creditor Rights departments representing debt buyers and subrogation specialists.
In the Employment Law area, Randy successfully defended employment discrimination claims, claims before the NLRB as well as FMLA claims. He also assists small businesses in structuring their employee policies and handbook and works with human resource departments to monitor compliance with affirmative action and wage and hour issues.
A graduate of the Washington University School of Law in 1986, Randy is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and Washington D.C., as well as the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois and by special appearance in Kentucky. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, American Bar Association, NASP and NARCA. Randy is a past and present board member on several for profit businesses and is involved in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the St Louis Society for the Disabled. |
