Riezman Berger offers a full-spectrum labor and employment practice that represents both employers and employees.
Within the employment context, our representation stretches from the negotiation of employment contracts and covenants not to compete to the preparation and review of employee handbooks and company policies and procedures, to the development of ERISA qualified employee benefit programs. In addition, we counsel a wide range of companies with regard to their responsibilities under federal employment and antidiscrimination laws and represent employees in connection with claims arising under those laws and companies in defending such complaints.
On the labor front, our practice includes the representation of companies and municipalities in connection with their labor negotiations and other labor practices, including audits by regulatory agencies, as well as civil actions to enforce provisions of collective bargaining agreements. Our labor, employment and human resources practice also includes preventive counseling and courtroom prosecution and defense.
Riezman Berger’s labor and employment attorneys are experienced at all administrative levels, including the United States Department of Labor, the United States Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, and the Missouri Division of Employment Security.
